Al-Firdous College

To support matriculated students who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education, Al-Firdous College offers affordable intermediate education with a focus on Computer Science. By providing accessible education close to home, the college particularly benefits girls who face financial and societal constraints. This initiative continues AFWA’s mission to bridge the gap between education and economic independence, empowering youth with the skills to thrive in today’s competitive world.

Advanced IT Classes

AFWA’s Advanced IT Classes empower students from grades 9 to intermediate with essential technological skills like HTML, C programming, web design, and coding. These classes equip both boys and girls with the tools to excel in the digital age. By offering a foundation in programming and development, this initiative not only enhances employability but also fosters creativity and innovation among the students in underprivileged communities.

Physical Education

AFWA emphasizes physical health by incorporating sports and extracurricular activities into its curriculum. Students actively participate in football, badminton, and table tennis, with regular tournaments and field trips to enhance teamwork and confidence. By providing proper equipment and opportunities for boys and girls alike, AFWA encourages a balanced education that nurtures both the mind and body, fostering resilience, discipline, and social skills.

Sewing and Fashion Designing

This vocational program empowers women in the community by teaching sewing and fashion designing skills. Since 2008, over 4000 women have benefited, gaining financial independence and contributing to their households. The initiative fosters a supportive community among women, promoting economic sustainability and self-reliance. By nurturing creativity and skill, this program helps women take charge of their future while strengthening the community’s social fabric.

Women Empowerment Projects

Through initiatives like the “Go Green Bags” project, AFWA empowers women by providing them with skills and opportunities to earn a livelihood. This eco-friendly initiative promotes sustainability while fostering economic independence for women. By focusing on both skill-building and environmental responsibility, the project enables women to contribute to their communities while creating a positive societal and ecological impact.

Quranic Education

AFWA offers free Quranic education to children, promoting spiritual and moral growth within the community. These classes emphasize ethical values, discipline, and compassion, helping students develop a strong moral foundation. By making religious education accessible, the initiative ensures that children from all backgrounds can benefit from spiritual guidance alongside their academic pursuits.
