Miss Jannat ul Firdous founded the Al-Firdus Welfare Association in Barakahu, Islamabad, in July 2008. Starting with a small sewing center for local women, she soon expanded her efforts to address the lack of educational facilities for children in the area. In July 2011, she launched the Al-Firdous Community Model School with the mission "Taleem Sab k Liye" (Education for All). This charitable institution charges no tuition for deserving students and orphans, relying instead on donations from Miss Firdous's family and friends. Committed to providing quality education, the school integrates modern technology to enhance learning and offers education from Kindergarten through Intermediate. Al-Firdous Welfare Association is registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Registration & Control Ordinance of 1961, recognized by the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA), and affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad.
